Malouf Building Consultants Pty Ltd has been operating since 2006, We specialize in dwellings, dual occupancies, granny flats, swimming pool in all types of topography including Heritage conservation areas. We provide many years of experience both in Local Government and in the Private sector.
BCA will guide you through the process of building certification from approval right through to the inspections during construction and issue an Occupation Certificate of all types of buildings.
BCA will provide sound advice on the certification process in NSW and assist in the red tape to save you time and money through practical experience and create a simple solution.

What is an Accredited Certifier?
Accredited private certifiers are able accredited professionals who check that development proposals comply with required technical standards and regulations and issue the relevant certificates under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. Previously only local councils had this responsibility.
The Role of a Accredited Certifier
- Issue Construction Certificates, certifying (among other things) compliance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA);
- Issue compliance certificates specifying that conditions of consent have been satisfied or that work complies with the plan and specification, or nominating the classification of a building under the BCA;
- Issue Complying Development Certificates, certifying that nominated development proposals comply with standards and criteria in Council's Local Environmental Plans and Development Control Plans; and
- Act as a Principal Certifying Authority (PC), responsible for, among other things, issuing Occupation Certificates specifying that buildings are safe to occupy.
- Carry out mandatory building inspections.
